Closed for St. Patrick’s Day… Again

Das Irish Pub O’Callaghans Shamrock hat seine Türen unmittelbar vor der global Pandemie 2020 eröffnet. Am 17. März, dem St. Patrick’s Day, mussten alle Geschäfte, Restaurants, Pubs, etc. schliessen, was bedeutet, dass O’Callaghan’s Shamrock die Irische Nationalfeier nicht mit Gästen feiern konnte.

Der zweite Schweizer Lockdown bedeutete, dass O’Callaghan’s Shamrock ein weiteres Jahr auf den St. Patrick’s Day mit Gästen warten muss. Aber anstelle in Selbstmitleid zu versinken, hat der Besitzer des Pubs, Nigel O’Callaghan, eine wichtige Nachricht an alle in der Branche.

O’Callaghan’s Shamrock Irish Pub opened its doors right before the global pandemic in 2020. On the 17th March, St.Patrick’s Day, all shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. had to close, which meant O’Callaghan’s Shamrock Irish Pub could not have guests for the Irish national celebration.

Switzerland being in its 2nd lockdown meant that O’Callaghan’s Shamrock has to wait yet another year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with guests. But instead of dwelling in his own sorrows, Nigel O’Callaghan, owner of the pub, has a heartfelt message to everyone in the industry.
